We started with a question that we wanted to answer.
Then we collected the data from the class using a tally chart.
Next, we turned our raw data into a bar graph.
Lastly, we made some statements about the results using words like "more, most, fewer, less".
We did all this in our maths books. Next week we will see how it works on a spreadsheet.
Gathering data is an important skill that you will apply across the curriculum when you study and investigate new learning. I hope you will be able to apply these skills in your next inquiry to gather and analyse data.
